Overlooked Tips For Your Wedding Day
Wedding photography tips that you might not think or know about to help create beautiful images.
Just imagine, you're a bride or groom getting ready on your wedding day and you've found yourself wondering what you may have forgot, not prepared for or over looked and that 100% normal . Honestly, I may not be able to help you remember if you packed your shoes or if you need to "touch up(aka write)" your vowels but I can help you out with a couple of other things that will help your day go smoothly when it comes from a photographer's (and your picture's) perspective.
1. Make sure there is natural light in the room where the bride will be getting ready (window light.) Natural light tends to be more flattering and natural for how the colors will look in your image.
2.
Keep the area near the window free of trash, bags, snacks, etc. The window area is where the bride will be putting on her dress and having bridal shots done. (We don’t need any water bottles in our bridal portraits:).
3. If possible, try to have all bridal details together before the photographer arrives. (Dress, jewelry, shoes, bouquet, garter, veil, etc) it will make the detail shots move more efficiently and you are more likely to remember everything! Don't forget to have your rings cleaned and polished before the wedding, my camera finds everything.
4. It may sounds silly but allow more time than you think you need to get ready, it’s better to be safe than RUSHED! Plus, we will have more time to do your formal, bridal and couples images(if you are doing a first look.)
5. Lastly and most importantly, relax and have fun! You’re getting MARRIED!!
